Biden/Wright Letter

Letter from Chairman Biden to Angela Wright and her attorney – October 13, 1991.  After Angela Wright’s attorney indicated that he would not allow her to testify before the committee, Chairman Biden negotiated this letter with Wright and her attorney to memorialize her decision not to testify.  The letter states that it was Biden’s preference that Wright testify before the Committee, but if she declined, Biden would withdraw his subpoena and enter into the hearing record her interview with Committee staff.  Wright declined to testify and signed the letter stating that this resolution was “completely satisfactory.”
